todae's flag day was fun!!! i love flag day!! at first it was damn irritating..hot sunny day and we had to walk around and get people to donate into our cans..couldnt get any donations at first..so changed plan..decided to ask for donations..so i went to stand at somewhere near huilin and junkai..it was the only place where there were ppl walking around..and there was no other ways for them to run away..wahahahahahahaha!!..then i speaked in chinese and english..aunties and uncles started donating..haha..so happy man..and even little children pester their parents to donate..coz they wanted the sticker on their shirts..haha..a little girl shouted damn loudly in the mrt train just to get her mother donate so that she could get a sticker from me..bt i cant do donations in mrts so i gave her a sticker..she gave a smile..=) (im such a kind soul!!) it was partly retribution for us..we didnt realise that asking for donation was such a difficult thing to do..after doing it ourselves we understood and will donate to whoever who is holding the cans in the future.. its quite weird to see our dearest samuel doing jobs like that..he was damn steady at using his mouth to ask for donations man..haha..snatched our 'customers'..idiot..engliang even caused a couple to quarrel when he asked for donations.. a memorable day for me!! `mango |
