im back frm genting!! WE GOT A GOLD!! 83.4%. in e top 5!! orchid park sec won the competition with the song postcard from sg and another japanese song, something about sakura.. 1st day..got to sch early..it rained..mdm zaibon was late and we had to wait at the void deck..everybody came on time and we set off to genting highlands..i sat together with ber on the bus..shes such a nice girl man..told me to lie on her when she saw me sleeping..haha..we went up all the way on bus and arrived at bout 5pm on mondae afternoon..went for the opening ceremony and had a dinner-it was buffet. 2nd day..didnt sleep well as there was no bolster at all..only a pillow..got up early for breakfast as we had to go for a rehearsal for the competition in the morning..didnt play properly..went shopping after lunch and got back to the hotel for sectionals with mrs chua..slept early tt dae to prepare for the competition..missed home. 3rd day..everybody woke up early to get ready for the BIG THING..had coco crunch for breakfast..=) everything was fine and everyone was well tt day..accept one the sec 1-got red eye..azam was nervous..haha..tis is his first time playing for a competition..we played our best..got back to the ballroom to listen to the other bands after tt..seniors said it wasnt nice at all..so we thot we couldnt make it this time..results were released at 7.30pm tt day..we screamed when we heard HAI SING CATHOLIC SCHOOL, SILVER!!..we had the highest score among all the bands who gt 80% and above..we got into top5!! shopping again for the night. 4th day..we had half day free until lunch time..we couldnt play for the closing ceremony tt night..screamed while i took the roller coaster..ppl saed i screamed damn loud..haha..went to attend e closing ceremony at night..we gt a cert for our achievements..then the mc annouced tt they decided to give us gold instead of sliver for 80% and above..we screamed and cheered!! went to the cocktail party later..ate with ber, abi and e rest..mdm zaibon and the rest of the tchers bought us chocolates and we had fun together..everyone was happy..went to hafeez's room with casslynn, sockleng and hakeem and we drank esprit and played truth or dare..the dare part were so disgusting and sick-all thanks to hafeez and hakeem..went to bed at 2am. 5th day..had a great night..didnt want to wake up..so tired..ate terrible breakfast today..accept tt the coco crunch was nice..we set our way back to sg..slept all the way back..bought some edible stuff for my parents and bro..HOME SWEET HOME!! bought lots of things for myself and my famly..shirt for dad and bro..sleeveless top for mum..3 tshirts for myself..hairclips for both mum and me..lastly..a cute little bag with a pink furry ball..haha..=) PROUD FOR HSC BAND!! YES!! WE MADE IT AGAIN!!=) `mango |
